Privacy & Data Security Documentation
How RemoveBgNow protects user privacy with zero file retention, in-memory stream processing, and encryption.
RemoveBgNow is engineered around strict privacy principles: photos are processed in temporary RAM buffers and deleted immediately after output delivery.
Core Privacy Principles
| Principle | Technical Enforcement |
|---|---|
| Zero Permanent Storage | Uploaded photos are never saved to disk, external cloud storage buckets, or database archives. |
| No AI Training on User Data | Your private photos are never used to train, fine-tune, or validate machine learning models. |
| In-Memory Stream Processing | Images are processed entirely in ephemeral, volatile RAM streams and purged immediately. |
| No Account Required | We collect no personal identifying information (PII), email addresses, or payment details. |
Image Data Lifecycle
1. Image Selection → 2. In-Memory Ephemeral Stream → 3. AI Segmentation / Upscaling → 4. Direct Client Delivery → 5. Immediate Volatile RAM Purge.
Zero Tracking & No User Accounts
RemoveBgNow requires zero account signups. We do not store IP logs, user identifiers, browser cookies, or image history.
SSL / TLS Encryption in Transit
All requests transmitted between client web browsers and serverless proxy nodes are secured with TLS 1.3 256-bit encryption.
